Her Story

Beyond Bows was opened in July of 2016 by owner, Alison Soto. Since Alison was a little girl she dreamed of owning her own salon one day. At the age of 16, she completed nail school by attending everyday during her summer break from high school. Sometimes she would attend two classes a day. She graduated nail school and immediately landed a job in the industry she dreamed of working in her entire life. She soon learned how to thread eyebrows and attended esthetician school. The talent she has, combined with her passionate and caring demeanor has made her extremely successful and connected to each and every one of her clients. Her clients mean the world to her. Some have been on this journey with her for  20 years. Life certainly has not been without obstacles for Alison but she never gave up on her dream to open her own salon. Even when that meant renting a booth to keep her clients, using her own house to service her clients, or traveling around to clients houses, she did it! It was not an easy road and there were many challenges, but her passion and determination always persevered. Her dream finally became a reality in 2016 when Beyond Brows was opened.

In March of 2018, Alison went to doctors appointment and left with a life changing diagnosis. Invasive Ductile Carcinoma, a very aggressive but treatable type of breast cancer. Alison will be facing this like she does everything, head on with a very aggressive treatment plan that consists of chemotherapy, double mastectomy, radiation, and reconstruction. Alison is 32 years old and the mother of two beautiful children, Gianni 5 and Samantha 2. She has been overwhelmed with the show of love and support and is looking forward to getting back to work.
